Hi there,

I’m glad you stopped by. My name is Sophie and I have had the joy of working and playing with horses for the past twenty years. After earning my B.A. in psychology from CSU, Fullerton, I began graduate school for both clinical mental health counseling and marriage and family therapy. I am now a marriage and family therapist-trainee seeing clients under supervision from an LMFT and fellow equine-therapist. I am certified by EAGALA (the largest international equine therapy and learning association) to work with horses and clients in a clinical setting.

I personally experienced the benefits of a life spent with horses before I discovered the field of equine therapy and I am so passionate about sharing everything horses have to offer with my clients of all ages and backgrounds.

It is truly my honor and privilege to walk along side you on your journey, and to hold space for you and your horse as you grow, discover, learn, laugh, and cry together.
